The objectives of the Harpers Ferry Planning Commission in its advisory
capacity are to promote the orderly development of the Town, preserve,
protect and foster the rehabilitation of its historic edifices; provide
healthy surroundings for family life; and to insure that growth of the
community is commensurate with its historic significance and for such other
objectives as set forth in the West Virginia Code. Refer to Harpers Ferry

The Harpers Ferry Planning Commission meets at 7pm the first Tuesday of
each quarter. Additional meetings are required. Eleven members, 3/5 of whom
must have been a resident for at least one year. One member must be a town
council member.
